JUMBO

Last night was my last night in Hong Kong! We went to JUMBO, which is a huge floating restaurant.
You have to get on a little ferry and it takes you to the boat....

dirty diapers

Today I woke up with a serious head ach. To much babycham? maybe. To much babysitting? perhaps. Whatever the reason I was gonna just take it easy today, and I did. I ended up taking a walk on the beach.
This is a picture of my foot in the South China Sea.....

I found a butterfly taking a nap on the beach.....

My nephew, Baby Ethan, is an up-and-coming DJ in Hong Kong. His DJ name is DJ Dirty Diapers, he plays alot of hard to find club music. This is his set up.....

He's scratching a record......

He's very good.

crispy fatty lamb cutlets

Last night we took the ferry from downtown Honk Kong to the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. The ferry was only about a 10 minute ride and it was very old school style and super tipsy. The view of the city was spectacular....

the inside of the ferry....

We went to a fancy chinese restaurant and sat next to the window. There was an insane thunderstorm going on all through dinner, the whole city scape was lite up with lightning bolts every 2 minutes, it was one of the most breathtaking sights I have ever seen.

o yeah, and the food was really good, really fancy.....

sidewalk to heaven

Last night Mark and Elsie took me out to drinks and dinner. Elsie and I met up with Mark at this outdoor bar on the roof of a building. It was really beautiful and hot!
This was looking one way....

and this was the other direction....

The whole city seems to be connected by these sidewalks above the street. They go as a walk way from mall to mall from building to building.

We then took a super long escalator from the bottom of the city to the top. It was like a moving sidewalk going up hill, we passed lots of shops, bars and city apartments. This escalator has been one of the hightlights of my trip. It was really cool.

We went to an amazing Thai place for dinner and a really cute fancy frilly french bar for after dinner drinks.

And we ended our night in an area of town that is like a super cheesy mardi gra, with drunk americans, chinese bussiness men, and lots of asian hookers!
It was pretty funny and definintaly a sight to see!

And today we to the Peak!....which was totally foggy. But on a clear day you can see all of Hong Kong and all the islands. To get to the top you take a tram, it was really pretty even though we had some fog. It was so weird to be above the city.

I meet this guy up at the Peak, he said his name was Bruce and we hit it off really well. In this picture he's defending my honor......

baby champagne

Today we took the bus downtown to meet Mark (my brother-in-law) for lunch. We had chinese food (here they just call it food:) and our server did not speak english so comunication was a bit rough. Some how we got what we wanted (sorta)!

YUM!

These 2 little hens were headed to H&M......

These little hens were headed to somewhere alot less stylish....

I picked this little bottle up at the super market. It's "Babycham", which i think means it's a small bottle of champagne, or that it's champagne just for babys, either way i'm stoked on it. I haven't tried it yet but i'm sure it will be great, it does say "The happiest drink in the world!" on it. Sounds fun huh?
